In 2016, NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission was launched to study the near-Earth asteroid Bennu. The spacecraft reached Bennu in 2018 and is currently collecting samples to bring back to Earth in 2023. This mission aims to provide insights into the formation and evolution of our solar system and assess the potential threat posed by Bennu along with its valuable resources.

The Potential of Asteroids:
