Part I: Reading Comprehension

After answering question one, instead of starting from the beginning of the passage, try and locate the corresponding paragraph for the following questions first. This way, you can save yourself valuable time by skimming through only a few sentences instead of reading the whole passage. Once you have identified the paragraph, scan for the information needed to answer the question and move on to the next.

Third Question: Analyze the Structure

For the final questions in the Reading Comprehension section, you will need to analyze the overall structure of the passage. Make sure to spend the last couple of minutes looking over the passage as a whole, rather than just focusing on individual paragraphs. This should give you a better understanding of the author's intent and lead you towards the correct answer.

Part II: Listening Comprehension

First Question: Follow Along

Before the recording begins, scan through the questions quickly to familiarize yourself with the topics and anticipate what information you will need to listen out for. For example, if a speaker is discussing a specific place, they may use words or phrases that are commonly associated with that place. Knowing and understanding the context can give you valuable clues to answer the questions correctly.
